This website explores deep blue ocean.  There are other links available on this page for teachers to view as well.  General facts about oceans and the ocean life can be found at this site as well.  If you have any questions about oceans, you can send a question to Ann McGovern who is an author of children’s books on oceans.  Resources and teacher tips are available as well.

This site is based on a thematic unit on oceans.  There are many lesson plan ideas that tie into all subject areas.  There are also many ideas on how to decorate your classroom to fit the theme.  There are also many resources in terms of books, videos, and the internet.
