Overview of Microsoft Word in the Classroom
- Microsoft Word is probably the most popular Word Processing software found in K-12 schools. Word processors are the workhorses of computers. Almost every computer has a word processing program of some kind - whether it came free with your computer or whether you purchased it separately. There are many different word processing programs (e.g., Corel WordPerfect, Open Office) for you to choose from, each offering different tools that are included to help make it easier for you to write everything from letters and research papers to theses and Web pages.
